Leadership Series

Don't wait for a Leader - BE the leader!

Students who attend 4 out of 6 SVCC Student Activities events will receive a certificate of engagement for successful completion of the series and have the chance to win a $250 bookstore giftcard. 

By participating in the following events, students will understand the basic concepts and principles of leadership, cultural competencies, and social responsibility to develop personal values, discover personal strengths, and begin to take an active role in positively influencing the SVCC community and beyond.

SPRING SEMESTER EVENTS:

1/26: ALICE Training 12:30-1:15pm 1H16/1H18

2/25: Diversity and Leadership Presentation by Dr. Joshua Fredenburg 10-11:30am via Zoom

3/9: Disability Awareness Presentation by Nick Scott 12:30-1:30pm 1K4

3/30: Taking The LEAP with Tajay Ashmeade 12:30-1:30pm via Zoom

4/6: Pizza with the Prez 12:30-1:15pm 1H16/1H18

4/13: Election Day is Every Day: The Campaign for Your Future Starts Now! 12:30-1:30pm via Zoom

All students are welcome to events. Only students who register at https://forms.gle/bfFKJvk74qks2JNZ8 will receive a certificate at the completion of the Leadership Series. Please register by March 8.
